Despite Rick's relative youth (sorry Malcolm!!) he has worked for some of the UK's largest commercial radio stations both as a presenter, engineer and producer. Starting where most broadcasters began in the 80's at a Hospital Radio station Rick was quickly snapped up by a commercial station in London where he learnt not only the business end of a microphone but also how and why commercial radio stations do what they do and how to get through the door and stay there! Since then Rick has worked at radio stations across the UK, such as Invicta FM, Mercia FM, Wyvern FM, Hereward FM, Severn Sound, Mercury FM, SGR FM, Classic Gold Digital and he can now be found presenting Gemini Drivetime on Gemini FM .

In addition Rick has run a Voice-Over business and has provided voice-over artists and presenters for radio and TV productions across the globe. If you are in branches of Jewson listen out for Rick as he is the voice of Jewson in store TV and can now be heard on Halfords FM as well.

Rick has a real passion for radio and wants to try and inspire that passion in others. He has designed courses aimed at people with a real desire to work in the radio business, but who haven’t yet managed to get the break they are looking for. And we don't just mean pressing the buttons and talking, we mean the business, the financial's, the technology and the music!
