Lizi Mackey began dancing at the age of 6. Soon she was appearing on stage at Leeds City Varieties. Aged 10, she won a scholarship to Stonelands School Of Dance and Drama, Dawlish where she trained for 3years. Lizi danced leading roles with The National Youth Ballet, and performed at The Royal Albert Hall, London.

Lizi was offered a scholarship to train at The Legat School Of Dance, East Sussex, under the direction of Wendy Vincent-Smith and Prof. Paul Melis.Lizi was lucky to receive bursaries to train with The Birmingham Royal Ballet, The English National Ballet School, and The Rambert Dance Company. Aged 18, Lizi landed roles as a lead vocalist and dancer in the musicals Grease and Abba, at Tivoli World, Spain. She then toured Menorca in the South-American dance show Tequila Sunrise. In 2002 Lizi joined the cast of Saturday Night At The Movies, and toured across U.K. theatres as a singer and dancer in the popular 70’s soul production.

Lizi now performs as a solo vocalist and has been seen on ITV Stars and Their Doubles as Kylie Minogue tribute. Today Lizi enjoys teaching her performing skills to children and adults, as well as continuing to work professionally as a singer, dancer and model. Lizi has advanced skills in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Freestyle, Singing, Performance technique, and Choreography and is committed to making classes at The Music Mill exciting, enjoyable, and rewarding for children and adults of all abilities.

Over the past 2 years Lizi has grown the Music Mill Dance and Performing arts department into a vibrant and happy environment that everyone is keen to be a part of.
