1.1 This document sets out the terms and conditions that apply to The Dance and Performing Arts membership of The Music Mill [TMM], and is entered into with the named individual. The Music Mill reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time and undertakes to communicate material changes to all Members.
1.2 Membership at The Music Mill entitles the member to benefits including, but not limited to:
- Three Dance classes per week per month during term time
- 25% OFF any additional dance classes
- 25% OFF kids parties & holiday clubs
- 25% OFF Recording Studio & Rehearsal space bookings
- 1 x Dance Crew T-Shirt & Wristband
- A range of fun activities and events for you and your child
- Recommend a friend and get 1 months free membership
1.2a All dance classes must be booked in advance and will allocated on a first come first served basis. Additional classes may be offered as alternatives. When booking more than 3 classes per week the lowest priced classes will be allocated first with 25% off any additional Classes.
1.2b The Music Mill holds the right to change the dance and performing arts time table at any time and undertakes to communicate any changes to all members.
1.2c Once you are a member you can recommend a friend to join the membership scheme if they sign up as a member you are entitled to one months free membership. Only those that are not already dance customers of The Music Mill can be recommended as a friend. A dance customer is defined as any individual who has enrolled on a Music Mill dance or performing arts class for 8 weeks over a 12 month period. There is no limit on the number of friends you recommend.
1.3 Any Membership class entitlement not used within the week or the month cannot to be carried forward to the following week and thereafter.
1.4 Becoming a member of the Music Mill carries no legal responsibility for the member in respect of TMM, nor does it carry voting rights at meetings or liability in respect of any debts of TMM. The term ‘member’ is the name used to describe the group of people and organisations that access TMM’s services and benefits via a paid subscription programme.
1.5 Membership fees are payable annually either as one payment or monthly upon receipt of a signed standing order mandate.
1.5a Exam Fee’s are not included as part of the Membership Scheme.
1.6 Membership runs for one year from the start of the month of joining. Applications from new members will be processed within 5 working days. Current prices for membership fees are provided on our website and in membership publicity and joining forms. A joining fee is required to set up your membership.
1.7 Membership will automatically renew unless you advise otherwise. Membership can be cancelled with one months notice in writing, however any outstanding standing order payments will need to be settled. The full years premium will be due even if you decide to cancel your membership part way through the year. We regret that refunds cannot be made.
1.8 Membership is not transferable, and membership fees are non-refundable unless TMM fails in its duty to provide you with the benefits and services stated at the time your membership was purchased. Any case made for a refund must be put in writing.
1.9 The Music Mill reserves the right to cancel your membership at any time should we anticipate that it will not be possible to continue to provide membership benefits and services for a continuous period of 90 days or more. However we shall use our reasonable endeavours to give you reasonable advance notice if we intend to withdraw services or benefits on a permanent basis.
1.10 The Music Mill accepts no liability whatsoever for any harm, damage, or loss, howsoever caused, which results through being a member of the Music Mill.
1.11 These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear or decide any claim, action or proceedings and to settle any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Terms, and for these purposes each party irrevocably submits to the Jurisdiction of the English Courts.
2.1 We will, through the membership registration and renewals process, collect data about you and/or your organisation. We endeavour to take all reasonable measures to protect this data whilst it is in our care.
2.2 When you register as a member we collect from you such personal data as is required to properly administrate your membership subscription but will not collect sensitive data about you (race or ethnic origin, religious or other beliefs etc). This may include data captured on the ‘members’ section of TMM’s website. We use this information to effectively administrate your membership subscription and to provide you with a more personalised experience. We will also use this data to marketing purposes about our work, products and services and those with whom we collaborate and seek your permission to do this.
2.2a Music Mill Members shall be offered discounts and services from time to time. We will be sending these out via email and will publish these on our website.
2.3 We will not provide share your personal data with third parties unless we have your explicit permission to do so.
2.4 You have the right to access your personal data held by TMM. Any request for this should be directed to email@example.com
